Maven Partners is an executive search and selection firm which specialises in the placement of finance, taxation, fiduciary and legal professionals. They needed to revamp their website with clear messaging and concise copy to engage their busy international audience.
Problem: outdated website copy
Having last refreshed their website many years ago, Maven Partners were in the process of redesigning the site with improved user journeys and a simpler, more intuitive navigation. The old website copy wouldn’t have translated to the new design and, more to the point, it performed poorly at engaging and converting customers.
Solution: new content strategy and clear, engaging copy
I worked closely with the partners to understand the firm’s audiences and their needs, before making recommendations on the site content and architecture which would help drive visitors towards the primary goal – making contact.
I then formulated the site’s key messages and worked with the heads of each separate practice and territory to produce copy which would answer the needs of their customers. Finally, I devised a format for presenting the firm’s work in case studies which would build trust with prospective customers by demonstrating experience and value creation.
